What are video viewer hours?

Video viewer hours are the amount of time your fans spend watching your videos (on demand hosted videos, livestreams, or rentals). 1 hour viewed = 60 minutes viewed. 

Do video storage hours roll over into the next month?

No, video storage hours do not roll over into the next month. Any unused hours from the current month will not be carried over to the following month.

Do the video storage hours reset each month?

Yes, the video storage hours reset every month on the day when your Single subscription started. This means you will be allocated a new set of video storage hours, regardless of any remaining hours from the previous month.

How can I monitor my video viewer hours?

To monitor your usage, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Single account.
  2. Go to Settings > Usage and Billing
  3. Navigate to the video section.

How can I increase my viewer hours?

You can gain additional video viewer hours by upgrading your subscription plan

Video viewer hours are also replenished through the sale of various products created in Single, including:

Video Rentals

You get +1 video viewer hour added back to your total every time someone rents a video from your store.

The hour is added to the billing period in which the rental was purchased. 

Livestream Tickets

You get +1 video viewer hour added back to your total every time someone purchases a livestream ticket from your store. 

The hour is added to the billing period in which the ticket was purchased. 

Paid Memberships

You get +1 video viewer hour added back to your total every time a paid member transaction takes place. 

For example, if you have a membership program where members pay annually, you will get +1 video hour during the month they sign up. 

If you have a membership program where members pay monthly, you will get +1 video hour every month when the recurring transaction occurs.  

NFT Sales

You get +1 video viewer hour added back to your total every time someone purchases an NFT from your store. 

The hour is added to the billing period in which the NFT was purchased. 

What happens if I run out of viewer hours?

If you exceed the viewer hours included in your subscription, you will be billed for overages based on your chosen plan:
