Comment Settings

Engaging with your members through comments is a great way to build connections with your members. Here's how to manage your comment settings:

Enabling and Disabling Comments

When creating or editing a post, you'll see an option to toggle comments on or off. This allows you to control which posts are open for discussion.

  • To enable comments: Toggle the "Allow Comments" switch to the on position.
  • To disable comments: Toggle the "Allow Comments" switch to the off position.

Note: Only members with access to a post can see and leave comments on that post.

Managing Existing Comments

You can manage comments on your posts in two ways:

  1. In your store:
    • Navigate to the post on your store
    • Find the comment you want to manage
    • Click the "..." menu next to the comment
    • Select "Archive"
  2. In Single:
    • Open the post in Single
    • Scroll to the comments section
    • Locate the comment you want to manage
    • Click "Archive" next to the comment

Note: Archiving a comment doesn't permanently delete it; instead, it obscures the commenter's name and text, indicating that it's been removed.

Best Practices

  • Regularly engage with your commenters to foster community
  • Set clear community guidelines for respectful discussion
  • Be consistent in your moderation to maintain a positive environment
