1. Setup a Supported Recurring Payment Gateway
To enable recurring subscription fees, your Shopify store must use a compatible payment gateway. Supported options include:
- Shopify Payments (also supports Google Pay and Apple Pay)
- PayPal Express
- Paypal Payflow Pro
- Paypal Website Payments Pro (UK)
- Stripe (only available to some merchants)
- Authorize.net

2. Enable "Classic" Customer Accounts
- Log in to your Shopify admin
- Go to Settings > Customer accounts
- In the "Accounts in online store and checkout" section, click Edit
- Under "Login experience," select "Show login link in the header of online store and at checkout"
- In "Choose which version of customer accounts to use," select "Classic customer accounts"
- Click Save

3. Disable Shopify reCAPTCHA
- From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Apps and sales channels
- Click Online store
- Click Open sales channel
- Click Preferences
- In the Spam protection section, uncheck to deactivate Google reCAPTCHA
