      Setup Free Shipping Perks

      Learn how to offer free shipping to your members using Shopify discounts and customer segments.

      Step by step

      Before you start: If you haven’t yet created a customer segment for your members, you will need to do that first. See this article to learn how. 

      • Log into Shopify
      • From the left sidebar, click Discounts
      • Click Create discount
      • Choose Free Shipping
      • For Method, choose Discount Code
      • Generate or name your discount code
      • Edit the customer eligibility:
        • Choose specific customer segment
        • Select the segment you created for your membership tier(s)
      • Set additional rules (optional):
        • Maximum discount uses
        • • Combinations
      • Click Save discount

      What's next

      • Alert your members about the new discount code.
      • Remember: Only active, logged-in members can use the code, so you can publish it anywhere
